Authors:

The purpose of Eye on Kansas is to expand publication opportunities for authors in Kansas and provide Kansans with stories about our state. This means we are seeking reports of original works of any form, written, audio, video, still pictures. Anything that tells a story.

Submissions policy
We are prepared to publish original work, with the understanding that the rights will remain with you to republish anywhere you wish. At the same time, works that you have published elsewhere —and you still have the publishing rights—are welcome as well.

We will inform you of our decision in not more than 30 days. We intend to publish quarterly, and will include your article in the next issue after it is accepted.

Manuscript preparation/organization

Upon acceptance of the manuscript, the author will need to provide a copy of all files associated with the manuscript via e-mail as a TEXT file, not a Word/Word Perfect file. Authors unfamiliar with how to prepare text files will be assisted by our staff. Text, images, audio and video should be attached to e-mail and sent to tgould@ksu.edu .

In the case of video or still images, we require copies of releases from the subjects, where applicable.
