From the Photographer

The picture of the flag in a wheat field by my family's farm is my favorite photo that I entered in the RuralVoices Contest. I took this photo originally for 4-H. I was looking for a photo that represented rural life and patriotism. It is my favorite photo because it represent these things very well. The composition of the photo is very pleasing to the eye, and the colors stand out very well. This photo was chosen at the state level of 4-H to be displayed in Washington D.C., and it was also chosen to be given to Governor Kathleen Sebelius and Representative Jerry Moran as a gift from the State Fair.
