Reflections of a Quiet Countryside

The photos were taken in the countryside near Hillsboro, at the farm we rent (the latch photo below) and at the barn of a dairy nearby (above). I believe the camera I was using at that time was my sister's, a Canon PowerShot A720 IS.

Sometimes the best photos are unexpected surprises--I couldn't see the sunset reflected in the barn window until I saw the photo on my computer.

Barn latch: I wanted to challenge myself to view ordinary objects from a different angle, so I took this photo of the latch from beneath.

Country landscape shots: I went into Photoshop and used the color adjust feature to add more reds and yellows, counteracting the grey sky and adding to the fall feel.

On the picture of the signpost I wanted the road name "Limestone" to appear on top of the rock road as an interesting correlation.
